What we collect

Obrize LLC (“we”) runs GC. We collect phone numbers and group membership that our messaging provider gives us to deliver GC’s replies, and records of messaging consent and opt-outs. We keep no chat history.

How we use it

Only to deliver the replies, reminders, and service notices you asked for, to honor opt-outs, and to operate, secure, and troubleshoot GC.

No third-party marketing

We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent data to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Sponsors, if any, never receive phone numbers. We share this information only with service providers that run GC for us, and when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

The separate consent and revocation ledger keeps four fields for 4 years: a purpose-keyed phone-number hash, notice version, action, and time. Current group-local age and service acceptance is separate, expires with membership or group deletion, and requires renewal after at most four years. Safety suppression indices last up to 90 days; independent full-service revocation proof remains effective for up to four years, so index expiry cannot restart GC. START renews only the current group’s service acceptance. STOP cancels tasks immediately and retains settings for at most 30 days; Delete erases the stopped group silently sooner. Legal proof and safety suppression remain for their stated periods. Other group data follows the deadlines in our Privacy Policy.
